TACT aspires to:

- Track and influence developments, informing and engaging members
- Advance the knowledge and practice of quality trusteeship
- Provide a forum for members
In doing so TACT:
- Maintains contact with similar bodies, both domestic and overseas
- Maintains contact with relevant government and regulatory organisations
- Responds to consultations to HMRC and other government and regulatory organisations
- Proactively identifies current and future industry issues
- Maintains and reviews professional codes and guidance for members

- Being listed and recognised amongst the leading firms in the industry
- The ability to state TACT membership in company promotional material
